My New Adventure in Entrepreneurship
Starting today I’m once again stepping out on my own on a new adventure. I am going to spend the next year as an entrepreneur: pursuing ideas, following dreams, and collaborating with great people.
This is not my first time stepping out on my own — in 2012 I quit my job and worked as an independent consultant for a year and a half. In fact as early as age 5 I have launched my own ventures and looked for ways to control my own destiny.
This time is unique, however, in that it is both carefully planned….and carefully unplanned.
I have a great business opportunity — FlexePark — that has been in development for 2 years, and has a great team built around it. I’m convinced of its potential and will be investing a lot of time into it.
However I’m not going to spend 40 hours a week on it. Or really any project.
For the next 12 months I am going to focus on building ideas. The goal is to create one new app, business, product, or revenue stream every single month. I’m focusing on building a system of exploring ideas and getting things done. Rapid development, rapid failure, and constant iteration.
During this time I will be posting weekly updates, so follow along to see how the story develops.
